Multiple Sclerosis National Research Institute

Multiple Sclerosis National Research Institute Multiple Sclerosis National Research Institute conducts basic biomedical research directed towards causes, diagnosis, treatments, vaccines and cures for Multiple Sclerosis (“MS”). Our scientists are world-class researchers who publish over 100 scientific articles each year in journals, books and symposium proceedings. They provide lectures at universities and at scientific conferences throughout the world. They provide training and mentoring to postdoctoral research fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students, high school science teachers, and even high school students who are interested in learning about science and disease-focused research.

Our scientists are passionate about their work and the mission of combating this debilitating disease. The mission at Multiple Sclerosis National Research Institute is not only to conduct the science, but to ensure that our research discoveries make a difference to humans. The majority of our activities specifically involve research in the laboratory. Yet to ensure that our research makes a difference to humans, we support our scientists in their outreach endeavors, such as publishing research results, traveling worldwide in order to give lectures and other presentations, establishing and maintaining collaborations with other scientists who conduct research in the same field, and functioning as mentors to students and scientists new in the field.
